Brushing your teeth is of foremost importance. Choosing the right toothbrush and the paste will help in making sure no left-over mood is stuck between your teeth. Please note that this should be done before you wear your braces.

As the aligners are exactly like your teeth, they need to be cleaned regularly to prevent stains. Unfortunately, you’ll have remove your aligners to start the cleaning process. Use a soft bristled toothbrush to and water to remove any lodged food particles. Most invisible braces come included with a cleaner. If not, it is advisable to consult your local dentist for a cleaner solution. The cleaner is used to get rid of tough stains that are formed after prolonged use of your braces. Simply place the aligners in the cleaner and let it soak for some time.

3) Rinsing

One of the main benefits of using invisible teeth braces is that it gives you the freedom to eat and drink whatever you like. There are no restrictions. However, it is extremely important to take proper care of your braces once you’ve eaten. It is recommended that after you eat or drink anything, the aligners are rinsed in warm water. This will remove any food particles that may have gotten stuck on the aligners while you were eating.

4) Storing the Braces

Most dentists will recommend that you wear the invisible teeth braces for at least 22 hours a day. While it is not always possible due to a variety of reasons, it is advisable to follow the routine for a faster recovery. When you are not wearing the aligners, it is of utmost importance to properly store the braces in their case. This will prevent them from getting damaged when not in use. The temperature of the room and area you store your aligners is important. If the aligners are stored in a place that is warmer than the temperature of your mouth, there is a high probability the braces will melt or change their shape. Always place your braces in a cool place while not in use.

Follow these steps and your braces will always be as good as new and will help you avoid paying additional costs for repair or change.
